1. Data controller

We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data.

2. What data we process, why and on what legal basis

Orders and delivery – name, e-mail, phone, delivery and billing address, order details and payment information. Purpose: concluding and performing the purchase contract, delivery, communication about the order. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Accounting and tax obligations – invoicing and order data. Legal basis: compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Complaints, withdrawals and disputes – data related to the order and communication. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in protecting our legal claims (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Customer account (if you create one) – login e-mail and order history. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Newsletter – e-mail address. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in sending offers of similar products to existing customers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each e-mail.
Contact form – name, e-mail, phone and message. Purpose: answering your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Cookies, analytics and advertising – data about your device and use of the website. Necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the store; analytics and marketing cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google) only with your consent given in the cookie banner, which you can change at any time.

3. Recipients of personal data

We share personal data only to the extent necessary with: the e-commerce platform provider Shopify International Ltd. (hosting, store operation and payment processing via Shopify Payments), carriers (e.g. Zásilkovna/Packeta, PPL, DHL) for delivery, providers of accounting and invoicing services, and – only with your consent – providers of analytics and advertising tools (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Google Ireland Ltd.). We may also disclose data to public authorities where required by law.

Some providers (e.g. Shopify, Meta, Google) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.

4. How long we keep data

Order data – for the duration of the contract and then for the period in which claims can be made (typically 4 years from delivery).
Accounting and tax documents – 10 years, as required by law.
Newsletter – until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
Contact form enquiries – for the time necessary to handle them, at most 2 years.
Cookies – according to the settings in the cookie banner, at most 13 months.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing purposes. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@foxo.cz.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.

6. Security

We protect personal data using appropriate technical and organisational measures. Payment card data is processed by the payment service provider and is never stored by us.
